Three months after revealing his plans to move to Jackson State, former All-SWAC wide receiver Nathan Rembert is departing from the program.

Rembert is the fourth Jackson State athlete to enter the transfer portal in the last week, joining a roster that features fellow wide receiver Rico Powers.

Last season, in his first and only stint with Mississippi Valley State, Rembert earned a spot on the All-SWAC First Team after achieving 1,038 receiving yards on 70 catches.

He registered five 100-yard receiving performances throughout the season, including a peak of 163 yards against Prairie View A&M.

Prior to his time at Mississippi Valley State, the All-SWAC honoree spent a year at Edward Waters, where he was selected for the All-SIAC First Team in 2023.

He recorded 32 receptions for 730 yards and achieved eight touchdowns on an Edward Waters squad that celebrated its first winning season in nearly two decades.

Rembert has two years of eligibility left.
