Three months after announcing his intentions to transfer to Jackson State, former All-SWAC wide receiver Nathan Rembert is leaving the program.

Rembert is the fourth Jackson State player to enter the transfer portal in the past week, joining a list that includes fellow wide receiver Rico Powers.

Last season, in his first and only season with Mississippi Valley State, Rembert was named to the All-SWAC First Team after posting 1,038 receiving yards on 70 receptions.

He posted five 100-yard receiving games during the year, including a season-high 163 yards against Prairie View A&M.

Before coming to Mississippi Valley State, the All-SWAC selection played a year at Edward Waters, where he was named to the All-SIAC First Team in 2023.

He caught 32 passes for 730 yards and scored eight touchdowns on an Edward Waters team that recorded its first winning season in nearly 20 years.

Rembert has two years of eligibility remaining.
