Typically, I don’t liveblog the details of the preshow, but they aired a vignette for a AAA/NXT Worlds Collide event in June and then followed that up by announcing WWE has acquired AAA *and* utilized it to transition to Rey Mysterio declaring that he’s not cleared and will be substituted by Rey Fenix in his matchup against El Grande Americano tonight, so there you have it.

Later, there’s also news about Bayley suffering a strange injury backstage caused by definitely not Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, with Adam Pearce informing both they’re not evading a title match tomorrow night that easily.

The main show kicks off with the customary montage of talent arriving at the venue.

Next, we witness a video narrated by Triple H discussing heroes and villains and legendary narratives.

Triple H is in the ring, microphone in hand.

He states it’s his privilege to welcome everyone to Las Vegas, where for the very first time, right here, right now (is Van Halen rocking America?), all present are being viewed LIVE by the entire world. He then greets us to WrestleMania, and a flurry of pyrotechnics erupts.
