Typically, I don’t liveblog the specifics of the preshow, but they showcased a vignette for an AAA/NXT Worlds Collide event in June and subsequently revealed that WWE has acquired AAA *and* used it to transition to Rey Mysterio announcing his inability to compete, with Rey Fenix stepping in for his match against El Grande Americano tonight, so there you have it.

Later, there’s also a mention of Bayley suffering a mysterious injury backstage, thanks to definitely not Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, and Adam Pearce informing the two that they won’t be escaping so easily from a title match tomorrow night.
