WWE WRESTLEMANIA 41 LIVE BLOG & MATCH COVERAGE
Higher! Higher! Ignite the flames! She is executed at the stake as a witch, but me? I’m merely here to liveblog this pro wrestling event for you, everyone.
Typically, I don’t liveblog the ins and outs of the preshow, but they aired a segment for AAA/NXT Worlds Collide in June and then proceeded to announce that WWE acquired AAA *and* used it to segue into Rey Mysterio revealing he’s not cleared and will be substituted by Rey Fenix in his match against El Grande Americano tonight, so there you have it.
Additionally, later they mention something about Bayley sustaining an unexplained injury backstage by certainly not Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, with Adam Pearce telling both of them they aren’t getting out of their title match tomorrow night that easily.
The main event begins with the customary montage of talent arriving at the venue.
We are then shown a video narrated by Triple H discussing heroes and villains along with legendary tales.
Triple H stands in the ring, microphone in hand.
He states it’s his privilege to welcome us to Las Vegas, where for the first time ever, right here, right now (Van Halen is rocking out in America?), everyone present is being seen LIVE by the entire world. He then extends a welcome to WrestleMania and an explosion of pyro follows.
