Typically I don’t live blog the details of the preshow, but they showcased a vignette for a AAA/NXT Worlds Collide occurring in June and followed it up by revealing that WWE acquired AAA *and* used this to transition to Rey Mysterio declaring that he’s not cleared and will be substituted by Rey Fenix in his match against El Grande Americano tonight, so there you have it.

Later, there’s also mention of Bayley being mysteriously injured backstage by definitively not Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, and Adam Pearce informing both of them that they won’t be escaping a title match tomorrow night so easily.
